The law that establishes the National Registry of Pedophiles and Sexual Predators and includes a measure that removes the confidentiality of the names of sex offenders convicted in the first instance was sanctioned at the end of November (Law 15.035/2024). The law originated from a bill presented by Senator Margareth Buzetti (PSD-MT).
