The river is imagined as a large house with emotions, a daega (大家), and it is expressed as a 'house of emotions'. The main melody centered on the menari tori, a technique mainly found in music from the eastern region, appears throughout the movement, and folk music colors such as the rough sound of the piri and the humorous daruchiggi technique of the haegeum are borrowed. It consists of a total of three movements, the first movement is a dynamic river full of life and power, the second movement is about the many stories the river holds, and the third movement is about the many living things living underneath it and the strength of the endless water stream, all contained in the continuous movement of three different pitches of the gong. ※ The copyright of this video and music belongs to the National Orchestra of Korea (NOK), and you may be subject to sanctions if you use this video for commercial purposes.
