Nanocar racing! The fabulous international competition in which several teams fight for a dream: to make their nanocars, molecules with a size of 0.00000001 m, travel the greatest distance possible over 24 hours. Not only do they have to design their winning molecule but also drive around a golden circuit full of dangers using scanning tunneling microscopes. We interview David Écija, technical director of the co-champion team of the 2022 race, and ask him all the details of this interesting sport. He will also tell us about the science behind the race and the challenges posed by his field. Nanocar Racing: THE VIDEO GAME https://nanohispa.nanociencia.imdea.o...
