I transferred the data I received from Myheritege to the Familytreedna website for $10 and finally learned my Y-DNA result. This journey towards my ancestors was quite interesting but also gave me the results I expected. I saw that my grandfather, who came with the Caucasus migration, had a very close lineage with the Karachay-Balkar Turks and moreover, my own lineage had ties with the steppe peoples such as the Alans, Scythians, and Sarmatians. Similarly, we were related to the Bashkir Turks through the paternal line. However, in addition to all this, I identified with the Sintaşta culture samples, which are the subject of archaeology. I learned that I came from the same roots with the Bronze Age Central Asian samples, but especially the skeletons in Kazakhstan. The Y-DNA result is done to determine the paternal lineage and I got exactly the results I expected. My genetic adventure extending to Yamnaya, Sintaşta, the Turkish World and the Caucasus satisfied me very much, but this test is not a complete sub-branch result. It is just a result about where we came from for sure. The real result will be determined by the BIG-Y test, but it is also a bit expensive. I have a common family history with the Arpad Dynasty. My surname is Kabartaş and it is a surname that does not let you forget where my ancestors came from. But Arpad also brought a Turkish tribe called the Kabarlar from the Caucasus to Hungary as a result of a rebellion, and made Hungary call itself Turkey for the first time in history. Perhaps my exact lineage with the Arpad Dynasty will lead to the establishment of bridges between the Caucasus and Hungary more clearly! Who knows?! #myheritagedna #familytree #ydna #dnatesti
