Hey everyone, April really does what it wants. I really didn't expect the whole of nature to be white again this year. Luckily the cherries aren't blooming yet, but unfortunately the star magnolia and the white camellia suffered a little frost damage. So you can see once again that when the sun comes out you want to finish off the plants, but you have to be careful in April;) Horned violets are a great choice, the plant itself can tolerate a bit of frost and recover. Last winter I showed you how you can make a bowl out of branches yourself. Today I want to upcycle this bowl and make a kind of bird's nest out of it. My tip is to slightly twist fresh branches in a bucket, then it's easier to put them around the bowl. You can design the spring planting for the bowl however you like, I think this new variety "Horned Violet Wave" is really cool because it's good if you want something climbing in the spring. I really like the contrast between yellow pots and purple plants. It was really a matter of luck that the branch fits so perfectly and I think this decoration idea is great for spring. Whether at the entrance or on the terrace, it is an absolute eye-catcher. There is also a small update and a few ideas on how you can plant your pots in spring. So have fun watching, all the best, your Marion https://flowersbyschouten.com - My Shop / flowersbyschouten - My Instagram
