Be sure to try this recipe, which will turn your kitchen into an orange grove with the overwhelming orange scent and flavor of the cake! 4 eggs 1 cup sugar (250 g) 2/3 cups olive oil Juice of 1 orange 2 cups flour 1 packet of baking powder 1 packet of vanillin 2 handfuls of walnuts For the Orange Sherbet; 3 oranges 2 lemons 1 cup cold water 1 cup sugar Peel 3 oranges and 2 lemons, then squeeze their juice. You will obtain approximately 2 cups of juice. If you peel it with a fine grater (zester), it will come out in strips and the whites will not come out. Otherwise, you can chop it finely with a knife. Put this juice in a saucepan, add 1 cup of cold water and 1 cup of sugar. Before the mixture boils, stir well so that the sugar dissolves completely. (If it boils before the sugar dissolves, there may be pieces of sugar on the cake when the syrup is poured.) Boil the syrup on low heat for 25 minutes and remove from the stove. Cool. Break 4 eggs into a bowl, add 1 cup of sugar and beat until the eggs turn white. (Whitening the eggs is an important step so that your cake does not smell like eggs.) Add ⅔ cup of olive oil to the mixture you are beating and continue beating. Peel 1 orange without removing the white parts with a peeler and squeeze its juice. Add approximately half a cup of orange juice to the cake mixture. Add 2 cups of flour, 1 package of baking powder and 1 package of vanilla to the mixture and mix until all the ingredients are well mixed. Grease your cake mold well with butter and sprinkle some flour on it and spread it all over. Pour ⅓ of the cake mixture you have prepared into the cake mold. Sprinkle half of 2 handfuls of walnuts by breaking them into 4-5 pieces with your hands. Add the remaining cake mixture to the mold and sprinkle the remaining walnuts on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees with both the top and bottom working for about 1 hour. Poke random holes on the cake after you take it out of the oven with a small knife. Pour the cold syrup over the cake and wait a little while for the syrup to absorb the cake. Place the orange and lemon peels on the cake and serve. #OrangeWetCake #RefikaTarifleri #WetCake #OrangeDesserts #HomemadeCake Join this channel to benefit from the privileges: / @refikaninmutfagi ►To subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/RefikaninYemekOkulu ►Our English Channel: / refika ►Our Etsy Page for International Purchases: https://etsy.me/32ShQwL ► Our Etsy Store for International Purchases: https://etsy.me/32ShQwL To follow what's going on in our kitchen and Cooking School more closely; ►Facebook: / refikaninmutfagi ►Instagram: / refikabirgul ►Twitter: / refikabirgul ►Website: https://www.refikaninmutfagi.com ►For the handmade, eye-catching beauties we use in our kitchen: https://goo.gl/0aKsMW
