About :

On board the Chapa M, the last Toshiba to set foot in the Bartolomé Mitre station. In the video, we see it on its penultimate service from Mitre to Retiro on that beautiful but sad summer afternoon. On January 24, 2015, the Toshiba electric cars on the Mitre Line were definitively withdrawn from service. These excellent and noble Japanese cars endured more than 50 years of uninterrupted service, suffered modifications, several accidents, a lot of mistreatment and lack of maintenance, but even so, they have been with us since 1962, at least on the Mitre Line.
