Vedeng is a Kurdish word, and this is part of the vision of the idea that aims to translate the echo of Syrian reality in general, by combining the Arabic and Kurdish words through understanding the language of reality and accepting the different. Vedeng News was launched on October 25, 2015 by a group of media professionals in different Syrian governorates to monitor events realistically. They set their vision to be a media institution that reflects the visions of the Syrian street in the events of its geography and the world around it, through a liberal identity and unique content, and through an editorial policy that works to formulate diverse content that starts from people's interests, ideas and visions and then ends with them again, carrying with it what completes the picture in front of them and answers their questions, in addition to Vedeng News being the first platform for individuals in Syria to express, write and blog freely outside the limits of editorial agendas. Vedeng News manages its work and operational costs by providing management and content provision services on the Internet for institutions wishing to do so, and relies on the voluntary efforts of individuals and writing for free. Vedeng News aims primarily to: create distinctive, unique and participatory media content, in addition to its professional and media value, equipped with social media capabilities, and allows for the formation of a network of relationships between constructive initiatives, ideas and projects. Strengthening communication with various news and media networks in the world. To be an independent media agency: news, cultural, and specialized in Syrian affairs in general.
