About :

Lokananta is the first recording studio or music studio in Indonesia that has just finished revitalization. Lokananta was founded on October 29, 1956 by Raden Maladi, Head of the Republic of Indonesia Radio Service (RRI). At that time, Oetojo Soemowidjojo and Raden Ngabehi Soegoto Soerjodipoero participated in the process of establishing this 21,150 square meter music studio. The music studio located on Jl Ahmad Yani Number 379A, Kerten, Laweyan District, Surakarta City, Central Java was once used to record broadcast material in the form of vinyl records broadcast by 26 RRI stations throughout Indonesia
