This film was shot on May 31, 1945 by a camera team of US soldiers in Munich. The cameramen began filming at Munich Central Station and then filmed other buildings in the city center, including the headquarters of the German Reichsbahn, the town hall, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the State Gallery on Königsplatz, the Siegestor, Maximiliansplatz and the Brown House, the building of the NSDAP party headquarters. The film footage, which from a military-historical perspective has nothing to do with the "Trolley Mission" (see https://www.trolley-mission.de), is offered here to illustrate the year 1945 in moving images.
