This time, the mill hiking trail captivated me. The mill hiking trail, like the Idyllic Road, is a large circular hiking trail of 37 km. However, it is divided into several loops/tours. Since I have already walked one or two loops, I want to try to complete this collection. I have already done tours 1, 2 and 5 - you can also find these in my playlist here on YouTube. Today I am walking tour 3b, which is about 9 kilometers long. There are 6 tours in total, with tour 6 being especially suitable for strollers (I will definitely skip this one). The tours 3a and 4 that I am still missing cannot be done as of today, as some of them are still impassable due to the flood damage from May 2024. In some cases the entire route is missing! On this tour 3b I pass two old but beautifully restored mills and at one of the two, at the Hagmühle, there is even a beer garden that invites you to linger in the summer. As the route runs parallel to the Feenspuren - Roman forest for a good stretch and I pass the Ostkastell in Welzheim again, I will pay it a little visit.
