Video of fairy tale rides Gornji Vakuf - Rostovo - Lake Prokoško and back via Vranica to Gornji Vakuf. We left Gornji Vakuf around 7 o'clock. At the beginning, we were greeted by a gentle climb through the Bistrica river canyon at a cool 8.5 degrees. After an hour's drive, we reach the crossroads for Prokoško Lake, where we first decide to visit the necropolis of the stećak Maculje in Rostov. After a short tour and taking pictures, we return to the intersection and continue towards Lake Prokoški. There begins a slightly steeper climb, but you drive through a beautiful forest, so it was a real pleasure to climb towards the lake. After a long drive, we arrive at Vlaška Ravan, where the macadam road leading from Fojnica to the lake joins. It was a bit congested there, a lot of cars passed by, leaving us in a cloud of dust, but after about half an hour we reach the lake. The lake and the surrounding nature are so destroyed by the surrounding cottages, garbage and gypsy onions, that we stayed by the lake for a very short time, ate something and continued our journey. It's been a long time since a location left such a bad impression on me. We continue our journey on a bad macadam road, on which we circle the peaks of Vranica Krstac and Nadkrstac. We had planned to go down an alternative route to the Slap waterfall in Ždrmci, but part of the road fell into disrepair and we didn't know what kind of road awaited us further, so we decided to leave the waterfall tour for another time. On the way down, we got lost a couple of times, but in the end we managed somehow and came to Gornji Vakuf. Nice tour, especially the forest part from Rostov to the lake. I definitely do not recommend the lake itself to anyone.
