The holiday period is usually the best time for large cities to carry out essential track works, which at the same time prevent tram traffic. In Wrocław, with the end of the previous school year, the routes of as many as 12 tram lines were changed, two were suspended and additional, replacement connections were launched, including 702, which connected the city centre with Krzyki, replacing tram communication on Powstańców Śląskich Street and part of Świdnicka. Access to Krzyki by rail was still possible, but via a roundabout route. The frequency of line 702 was of course sufficiently high - articulated buses arrived at the stops every few minutes. All track works in the city are a continuation of the TORYvolution, which was initiated by the late, former president of Wrocław MPK, Krzysztof Balawejder, a controversial figure who is certainly deeply etched in the history of public transport. With the end of the holidays, buses of line 702 were suspended, and trams returned to their routes towards Krzyki. 702 Arkady/Capitol - Krzyki 1. Arkady/Capitol 2. Zaolziańska 3. Wielka 4. Rondo 5.
