Movie Summary: Action Black Comedy Super Good Movie Movie Review: The Menu. The Menu is about a young couple, Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult), who board a cruise ship to a secluded island to enjoy a meal at a five-star restaurant, Hawthorne, run by chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes). Here, both of them and other famous guests such as a snobbish movie star (John Leguizamo), wealthy financiers (Arturo Castro, Rob Yang, Mark St. Cyr), food critic Lillian Bloom (Janet McTeer) ... are prepared with a unique menu along with scary secrets. Ralph Fiennes takes on a central role at the Hawthorne restaurant, when he plays chef Slowik in The Menu. Slowik is a character with a serious and sarcastic personality, he always controls his emotions with everyone but has a different attitude when talking to Margot, who he thinks is different from the people who come here.
