Monte Sinai em foco is a web series that presents behind-the-scenes information about hospital care processes, the complexity of which is not easily perceived by those seeking the service. In this second episode, you will have the opportunity to learn about the Central Sterile Materials Department (CMS) at Monte Sinai Hospital, where the sterilized materials required by the hospital units that provide patient care are prepared, controlled and distributed. The facility, which occupies 192 m², has been in compliance with Anvisa's resolution (RDC 15) since 2010, even before it came into effect. Operating 24 hours a day, the CMS staff team serves the institution's more than 200 beds, closed units and operating rooms.
