Starting from the square of the Ronco Scrivia train station (324m) we follow a loop with a summit on Mount Reale (902m), one of the most iconic peaks of the Antola Park. For both branches we cross the bridge over the Scrivia and then take the direction of Malvasi. After passing the small village the next destination is Minceto, a truly pretty center embellished by the little church of the Madonna della Neve with a beautiful view of Pietrafraccia and the sanctuary of Bastia. After an initial almost flat stretch, once past the Rocca dê Premè, the slope becomes decidedly steeper until reaching the summit of Mount Reale. Here the view ranges from the underlying Ronco to the sea and then again the Alps and the peaks of the Apennines such as Antola or the Figne group. At the summit the church also represents a winter shelter always open with the possibility of staying overnight upon reservation. The descent takes place on a path whose first stretch is rather steep becoming more gentle, entering a chestnut grove, near Cascine. From here another short stretch leads back to Ronco allowing you to close the loop.
