Motorcyclists have been using the pedestrian walkway on SC 401 in Canasvieiras inappropriately, which has caused problems and danger for pedestrians. This practice has been reported previously, and this week the Military Highway Police carried out an intensive inspection. During the short inspection period, seven motorcyclists were caught and fined for disregarding traffic rules by using the walkway inappropriately.
