Hello everyone, the Deutz has hardly any compression and I could easily turn it by hand over the TDC/BDC, this can indicate many things. From defective pistons and rings, cracked head, leaky valves etc. The crank was mistreated for hours, as it looks, the starter motor didn't fit. Why they went to such a bad length is beyond explanation. The history of this tractor is so uncertain, you have to check everything yourself. We take it apart, dismantle the head and the bushing. Pull out the piston and look at the crankshaft/connecting rod. The valves are checked for leaks. What all needs to be done? You can see that in this video. It's progressing in leaps and bounds, if you enjoy it then just click the symbol: Subscribe and don't miss anything - the screwdriver world shows more than just readings from the workshop manual. Best wishes Rene Steelstyler
