The first Open House is the Robs Couto house (@robscouto), a 140 m² space located in Perdizes, São Paulo. The residence has a living room, kitchen, backyard, annex with an office, toilet, pantry, laundry room and two suites on the upper floor. With a strong maximalist inspiration, the proposal seeks to recreate an atmosphere full of personality, where each corner was designed to evoke good memories, with elements sourced to bring a nostalgic and welcoming touch. The living room and kitchen stand out as central spaces, reflecting the resident's unpretentious and welcoming style. This is the second property she has rented in the same village, and the project shows that it is possible to personalize a rented space, as long as there is a careful eye for adaptations that imprint the identity of the person who lives there. During the renovation, there was a restructuring: it was necessary to remove a toilet in the middle of the house, which revealed a structural pillar, challenging the team to reinvent the project in the middle of the construction. The integration of spaces and coziness are key points, demonstrating that it is possible to create an authentic home. The second Open House is a 92 m² apartment in Perdizes, which belongs to Andrea Ferreira (@afermoda), mother of Robs Couto. Developed by architect Jovita Torrano, the plan was to transform a standard 1960s property into a modern and pleasant space. The essence of the project is boho, with a proposal that values freedom and comfort in the spaces. To achieve this, one of the bedrooms was eliminated, expanding the living room and creating space for a toilet, providing greater fluidity between the spaces. The kitchen is one of the highlights, it was completely renovated, integrating the old service room and the service area with the kitchen space, resulting in a larger and more functional space. This project shows the potential of transforming old properties into modern and functional homes, highlighting how opening up and integrating spaces can bring a better quality of life to the residents. ???? Hi, my name is Lucila Zahran Turqueto and I'm responsible for Casa de Valentina! The project started as a blog in 2008, the result of my passion for decorating spaces, when I was setting up my first house. Over time and with a lot of dedication, Casa de Valentina grew, gained momentum and matured. I received invitations to write articles for the main magazines in the segment, I was on the cover of a magazine and we won the title of the most influential design and décor blog in Latin America. Here on YouTube, you will find a select selection of architectural projects, with good decoration and interior solutions. A space for us to share inspiration and good taste!
