All-wheel wheelchair power pusher for the mountains With up to 6000 watts and all-wheel drive, it is now possible to get the best traction on the road even on gravel on the mountain. The first power rear-wheel drive for wheelchairs (Flying Hirsch) developed with behindert-barrierefrei eV is being tested in Kitzbühel i.Tirol, Austria. Up to now, towing bikes and towing devices have mostly been offered with front-wheel drive and weak engines. Traction on the mountain had to be optimized with wheelbase extensions and weights in order to even reasonably overcome an incline. With the Flying Hirsch, everything is different! Thanks to the powerful up to 6000 watt all-wheel drive, it is now possible to get maximum traction on the road with a short wheelbase. The perfect straight-line running makes speeds of up to 45 km/h an experience. The steering movements are therefore child's play to manage and no effort is required, even at low speeds. Thanks to disc brakes at the front and rear, lights, horn, etc., we now have to convince the TÜV that we need this... The front and rear wheels are equipped with shock absorbers. Attention: Due to the high speeds that can be reached with the Flying Hirsch, even experienced drivers should only drive with a helmet.
