Experience the Sky Bar of the Wasserturm Hotel Cologne - A masterpiece from the HOKAR GROUP In our latest video we show how we realized the spectacular Sky Bar in the Wasserturm Hotel Cologne, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. This exclusive bar, the most expensive outdoor bar in Cologne, is a true design highlight. We start with the visualization that laid the foundation for the construction, with special consideration of weather resistance and the enormous wind loads at height. Sustainable and easy-care materials were carefully selected to be not only exclusive but also durable. The stainless steel frame was assembled by our master carpenters and clad with screen-printed panels that can withstand all weather conditions. For the final cladding, we chose carbonized Nakamoto wood from Japan, which is particularly durable thanks to its special treatment. The surfaces were refined with the Dekton panel Dana-E from our partner Cosentino, and for the bar-back on the shelf we chose high-quality artificial plants that last at least up to 8 years. The lighting - from stainless steel letters with all-round lighting to indirect lighting under the counter and on the shelves - ensures timeless elegance and a floating design.
