This weekend we and our motorhome were drawn to the Moselle once again. This time our destination was the tranquil village of Wolf, where we settled in at the Moselle campsite. With the best view of the Moselle, we found it difficult to get on our bikes and explore the area a bit. The many bridges in the immediate vicinity are practical, so you can cycle a circular route or even hike. Traben-Trarbach is only 4 km away, Kröv is almost opposite and the Moselle fleet also docks in the beautiful half-timbered village of Wolf. Many restaurants invite you to stop in and enjoy yourself, but a hike to the old monastery ruins up on the vineyard is also worthwhile. During our visit there was a food truck festival in Traben-Trarbach, which we wanted to see. With 32 degrees throughout, we took it easy and relaxed, especially since our holiday planning for our Poland holiday was still on the agenda that weekend.
