Follow us on our great Moroccan journey, we will go through massive sand dunes, deserted highways, bustling cities and snow-capped peaks. We explored Morocco from north to south and east to west, driving more than 10,000 kilometers in eight weeks and encountering many unforgettable adventures. Watch us discover remote places, climb high peaks, brave barren deserts and navigate the congestion of Morocco’s major cities. In fact: despite our attempts to keep our documentary as authentic as possible, you are still watching a tape of the highlights. Naturally, we will select the most exciting videos when we edit them, and what you will not see are the hours we spent driving through not-so-beautiful places or some of the annoying difficulties we encountered. Did we like everything about Morocco? Of course not. As we mentioned in the video, we were disappointed by the sheer amount of waste and were also shocked by the large number of beggars, as we counted no less than 500 children who asked us for money or sweets. There is no doubt that Morocco must fight poverty, but this behavior seems driven by opportunity rather than need. Of course, giving these children a choice is personal, but when we didn’t, we were cursed and insulted. However, we saw that most Moroccans are friendly and helpful, the best example being the three men who helped us, without personal motive, to change our flat tire. Words are not enough to thank them enough. The whole truth: this trip was entirely self-funded, but we were given two free nights at the Sultana Oualidia and a similar stay at the Sultana Marrakech.
