👍 Leave a like if you liked the video! Moritz watches as farmer Jule harvests potatoes with a potato digger. The potato digger is a harvesting machine. The potatoes hidden in the ground are lifted out of the ground using a plowshare on a roller and transported into the machine. The potatoes are then separated from the soil on a sieve belt. The potato leaves are removed on the leaf belt. The soil is scraped off the potatoes on the hedgehog belt with hedgehog-shaped knobs. Up to six tons of potatoes can be collected in the potato bunker. When the potato bunker is full, the potatoes are tipped into a trailer. A tractor pulls the potato digger.
