After more than two years of Russian captivity, a serviceman from Ternopil region, Serhiy Boychuk, returned to service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The man went to defend Ukraine on the second day of the full-scale invasion. He served as a driver-mechanic of the BMP of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade. While performing a combat mission near the settlement of Spirne in the Donetsk region, he was wounded and captured. On October 18 of this year, Serhiy, along with other defenders, was returned to Ukraine.
