This week we have taken a cultural route through monumental Seville. It is impossible to see all the heritage of the old town of Seville in a single trip. So we will return later to continue to see more interesting monuments. This video is the first part. We started from the Guadalquivir River on Arjona Street. We continued along the left bank of the river, going down Paseo de Colón, until we reached the Torre del Oro. Then we turned towards the centre, passing by the Hotel Alfonso XIII. After passing in front of several palaces and stately buildings, we reached the Casa de la Moneda. Right after, crossing Avenida de la Constitución, we reached the Archivo General de Indias. After visiting it, we decided to enter the impressive Seville Cathedral. The entrance to the Cathedral also allows us to visit the Giralda - our next step - and the Iglesia Colegial del Divino Salvador. So when we leave the Patio de los Naranjos and leave the Cathedral through the Puerta del Perdón, we head towards Plaza San Francisco. After seeing some emblematic buildings, we arrive at the Church of El Salvador. We finish our tour of monumental Seville with a visit to the Real Alcázar of Seville and its beautiful gardens. In autumn we will go up a second part of monumental Seville.
