It is located in the Aosta Valley along the watershed between Valtournenche and Val d'Ayas. It is located at the convergence between the municipalities of Châtillon, Ayas and Saint Vincent. Towards the south-east the ridge continues with some minor elevations, then descending to Col de Joux and rising to Testa di Comagna, while to the north the watershed continues with Colle Portola. A well-defined secondary elevation at an altitude of 2,652 m[2] precedes the summit of Zerbion to the north. On the main summit there is an imposing statue of the Madonna. From the summit you can enjoy a wide panorama of the surrounding peaks and a large part of the Aosta Valley, already appreciated by tourists and travellers, including foreigners, since the nineteenth century.[3]
