For the second time I was in the village of Monte Verde, in the district of Camanducaia, in the south of Minas Gerais. The first time was twenty years ago. This time, as always, I went by motorcycle to record for the channel, and I noticed many changes, especially in its size. The village has grown! Today, with about 3 thousand inhabitants, Monte Verde has a huge number of hotels and inns, restaurants, bars, shops, all built in the European style, truly charming. However, I believe that the growing number of commercial establishments has not been accompanied by quality in some aspects, especially in the service and ease of access for tourists to some attractions that I visited and one that I tried to visit without success. I would like to clarify that this was MY experience during the two days that I spent there. Perhaps I was not so lucky, because I believe that there must be establishments that are better prepared to receive tourists. One of the pleasant surprises was the Recanto dos Fernandes inn, whose owner Tatiana welcomed me very well, in addition to being very comfortable and with a very fair price.
