It is also crucial to repot the plant into a suitable, highly permeable substrate. Before the next watering, we should make sure that the soil has dried out well to the entire depth - monsteras do not like excess water! Limp leaves, dark or yellow spots, pale leaves are most often the result of improper care and placing the monstera in a place that is too dark or too bright. Monsteras are climbing plants, which means that they will do very well in the company of a coconut stake or other support (preferably frequently watered). This will make the monstera leaves much larger and holes will appear on them (did you know that Monstera siltepecana can also have holes and cutouts?).
