Speaker: Dr. Leticia Lopes de Souza - postdoctoral student at the Laboratory of Protein Immunochemistry at UFMG. Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2017), Master in Biochemistry and Immunology (2019) and PhD from the same university (2022). She completed a sandwich doctorate at Imperial College London between 2020 and 2022. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Protein Immunochemistry at UFMG, working on the development of monoclonal antibodies. She has experience in the area of protein immunochemistry, with a focus on snake venoms, cellular toxicity, cell culture and transfection. In addition, she has projects that employ omics analysis (metabolome, proteome and lipidome) to study human cells treated with Bothrops toxins or venoms.
