Historians, archaeologists and local residents tell the story of the vast empire. The territory conquered by the united Mongol tribes in Asia and Eastern Europe was the largest sphere of dominion in world history. The film goes beyond the character of Genghis Khan, the notorious founder of the Mongol Empire, and explores multiple layers of the legacy of an empire that extends to this day.
