Subscribe to SRF Dok now on YouTube ???? https://www.youtube.com/srfdok?sub_co... Mona meets Felix, who had to drink a sip of vodka in the middle of the night to be able to sleep. The heavy drinker consumed two bottles of liquor every day. Plus "something with flavor" - by that Felix means wine and beer. At some point, the years of hide-and-seek at work were discovered. Liz's career as an alcoholic began with a Kafi Lutz in a miserable pub. She was 29 at the time and the mother of three small children. In the wake of alcohol and a violent husband, Liz fell deeper and deeper. When she finally left her partner, however, her addiction got really bad. Sibylle liked to go out with her friends, always accompanied by lots of alcohol. But while her friends gradually stopped partying, Sibylle carried on. At some point, she stopped going out either: it was more convenient to drink at home. For years, Sibylle concealed her addiction so well that not even her husband noticed that she was addicted to alcohol. Felix, Liz and Sibylle are now sober. With the help of the Alcoholics Anonymous self-help group, they managed to quit. But an estimated 250,000 people in Switzerland are still alcoholics. Mona was actually convinced that she didn't know anyone who was addicted to alcohol. But after the three days with Felix, Liz and Sibylle, she is no longer so sure. Because Mona now knows that alcoholism mostly takes place in secret.
