Surrounded by 363 goats - Mona Vetsch has never been more in the thick of things. Mona lends a hand on the Alp Puzzetta in Val Medel. What's special is that only women work up here. And they work hard. Mona quickly realizes that the idyllic image of life on the Alp is deceptive... ???? The two shepherdesses Tabea and Felicitas and dairymaid Sara with her assistant Paula show Mona what it takes to produce good goat cheese. The work on the Alp is exhausting, but it also gives you a lot back. The intensity and life in the moment outweigh the lack of sleep and lack of free time. The Alpine women work the rest of the year as project managers, body therapists or product designers and have all been to the Alp several times. Every time they return from the mountain to everyday life, two worlds collide. Goats require a lot of attention. Running a goat pasture is therefore very time-consuming. Mona accompanies the shepherdesses on the eight-hour tour into the rock faces of the Graubünden Alps. It is not a safe undertaking and it is not an easy task to bring all the goats back to the Alp safely. So during the evening milking, Mona and the Alpine women notice that animals are missing. Tabea sets out on a search to find the missing goats before nightfall.
