At first I thought someone had conjured up an N gauge system. The trains ran reliably according to the program and even shunted. They didn't start abruptly, but with an acceleration phase. And the trains stopped sensibly. Only then did I notice the couplings. It was Z gauge! From then on I could only admire the detail of the system and the smooth operation. Wonderful!
