The Teplice group Uz zme doma became one of the most famous domestic club groups in the 1990s and also celebrated great success abroad. And that, among other things, also in the USA, where she regularly went to perform for the local club audience and not for Czech "expats". During their stays across the Atlantic, its members also met the legendary avant-garde group The Residents and the former frontman of The Dead Kennedys, Jello Biafra, which in both cases also led to subsequent collaboration. In addition, the media such as The Rolling Stone magazine or the American CNN regularly report on their albums. Frontman Miroslav Wanek came to On Air to reminisce about the band's almost forty-year history and its key moments. How do you explain the success of an alternative band singing in Czech among foreign audiences?
