Many people know that she is one of the most successful German fashion designers, but hardly anyone knows how Gabriele Strehle became one. The film shows the creator of the luxury label Strenesse from her private side and takes a look at her career from a shy girl to a successful fashion designer with her feet on the ground. The film follows her from Nördlingen, the company headquarters, to Tegernsee, where she has created a second home for herself, and from the Munich flagship store to the Milan branch. The viewer learns a lot about Gabriele Strehle's demands on herself and her fashion, her passion for cooking and her rough edges. The film also shows an exciting look behind the scenes as the 2008/2009 winter collection is created.
