Hey, in this episode of the Post-War series I look at the Balkans and the history of a region that has been experiencing wars and local conflicts for centuries. One of the most serious disputes is the one between Albanians and Serbs over Kosovo. The former constitute the majority of the inhabitants there, while for the latter it is an extremely important historical region, where extremely important events for Serbian statehood took place. In the latest episode of my series I try to present this conflict throughout history, and their finale is the war in 1999 and NATO intervention. In March, hundreds of planes appeared over the Yugoslav sky, dropping bombs also on civilian objects. However, the leader of the country Slobodan Milošević, supported by his compatriots, did not intend to give up the fight for Kosovo, which in the opinion of Western countries should be independent. More on this topic in a moment. Due to the great interest in my first book, I decided to publish it as an e-book. At the same time, I do not intend to reprint the paper version in the coming weeks. It is possible that it will appear again in the spring. Thank you very much for all the words of support and positive reviews! https://powojnie.sklep.pl My books are available only at this address.
