Villagers work tirelessly to earn extra income: they grow vegetables and keep animals. But sometimes, people say, they give up when their work is so undervalued. Residents of the Karaklinskoye rural settlement contacted our editorial office with a request for help. People want to understand why milk collectors, in their opinion, underprice milk. Is 22 rubles per 1 liter a lot or a little - and just a year ago they sold it for 34. Previously, residents of the Karaklinskoye rural settlement would gather at dawn with full buckets to the milk truck. But in mid-July they decided that they would no longer agree to the milk collectors' terms. Keeping a cow on the farm is a huge job from morning to night, costs for feed and other expenses, say residents of the Karaklinskoye and Toburdanovsky rural settlements. ZOYA DOLGOVA: "It is unrealistic to sell milk for 22 rubles, it is unprofitable. They are simply suppressing the village population, and it turns out that they are putting pressure on them so that they all cease to exist. We need to support the village, we should not turn a blind eye to us. We need to be supported so that we work and feed the city." LYUDMILA PETROVA: "Of course, no one will keep cows. Because it is very unprofitable. We do not want to work at a loss for ourselves. We do not want to ruin our health either. The peasant has no days off or holidays." Even before March of this year, two entrepreneurs collected milk for 34 rubles, later the price dropped to 24, and then to 22 rubles. NADEZHDA FEDOROVA: "I myself do not work, I have a family. We also want to live. We do not demand exorbitant prices. A liter of milk costs 50 rubles at the market, they would give us at least 25 rubles per liter, we would gladly hand it over and would not be indignant, and would not organize such meetings." ANDREY MIKHAILOV: "I have only one question. In our village, the Vurnarsky dairy plant collects. Why do they collect 30 rubles in Batyrevo and 22 rubles in Toburdanovo? How can I explain this to the people? The problem of price reduction is typical for the high milk season. It does not bypass other regions of the republic. Currently, prices for a liter of milk in villages vary from 20 to 28 rubles. TATYANA PETROVA: “During the summer of this year, the Chuvash Republic Central Control Center recorded and processed about 10 messages on social networks that concerned the low purchase price of milk. This problem was voiced by residents of the Morgaushsky and Yantikovsky districts. By the way, last year there were also messages about the low purchase price of milk. And their number was about the same.” And already in August, when there will be less product, milk collectors will be forced to raise prices. In the meantime, the head of the Kanashsky District administration is trying to regulate relations with milk collectors and the local population. Businesses are advised not to forget about social responsibility. Milena Alekseeva, Yulia Akhmetova, Vladislav Vasiliev, Republic
