Professor of English and German, musician, songwriter, artist who played several secondary roles in domestic TV series, as well as in several films and former member of the cult punk rock band Hladno pivo - Mile Kekin is coming to the first episode of the most watched podcast in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After two seasons in which you got used to hearing and seeing Elvira Laković Laka as a regular guest, the undisputed sage and the asker of unusual questions, he decides to take over the leadership baton, and with his first official guest, he found a handful of topics to talk about. Lak was interested in everything - from how Kekin came up with the name Hladno pivo and what are the reasons why that beer has not been Hladno for a long time, whether he believes in inspiration and what his opinion is about politics, given that he himself was on one occasion ballot. Kekin remembered the first gigs with the band, but also the first learned chords, and for all the listeners and viewers of the Opet Laka podcast, these two musicians played some of the hits that we all love. He told Kekin about his roots and how his life journey went from Germany, where he was born, to BiH, more precisely Tuzla, his mother's birthplace, and all the way to Zagreb, where he currently lives. - My elders worked very hard, so I was actually the first to master the German language, because I spoke it from kindergarten onwards, so I only came face to face with the Cyrillic alphabet when I arrived in Tuzla. We had Cyrillic for a week, Latin for a week, and only then did I start learning that language. It wasn't easy, suddenly a new language, then two versions of the letter, it wasn't all that easy. It was kind of a shock for me, in the sense that I grew up in Germany, which was a well-to-do society. On one occasion, my uncle, with whom I lived, told me to go get bread. And I come to the store and you really only have one loaf of bread. In Germany, there were a dozen types, black, darker, healthier, peasant, this, that, but it was actually all good for me because everything was somewhat simplified and in that I adapted to the Balkan living conditions, said Kekin.
