The name HEFAISTON was chosen by the artistic blacksmith Milan Michna for the name of his company. Milan Michna's artworks are not only scattered all over the Czech Republic and in a number of other countries, but a large part of them can be found in the city where Milan Michna has been active for a long time - i.e. in Brno. We will now look at some of these implementations in more detail. The entire set of realizations, which were created recently, can be found in the beautiful surroundings of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. Especially in the locality of Fryšava under Žáková hora and Tři Studně. Here you can find the equipment of a larger area with a number of decorative and useful items. From gates, gratings, railings, doors, lights, to various types of fittings. The tavern, including complete equipment, is also interesting. There are also several church sculptures nearby. Smaller works of art can then be viewed in the indoor gallery. Both of these places also serve as a sales gallery, where you can view the finished products and have something made to order based on them or choose from ready-made items. The artistic blacksmith Milan Michna's lifelong creative work is remarkable and unique both in terms of scope and artistic diversity, and especially in its originality. It is therefore not surprising that he has also received a number of important and prestigious awards, including the City of Brno Award in the field of applied art. One of Milan Michna's unforgettable activities is the Day of Crafts, held at the Hefaiston artistic blacksmith shop. That is, directly in the workshop and all adjacent areas. Blacksmiths, ceramists, stained glass artists, glass makers, painters, architects, musicians and a number of other artists and their friends enjoy a unique meeting every year at the beginning of summer. The best and at the same time permanent business card of any artist is his work, which gives joy and benefit to many generations to come.
