The 8th Yalda Summit, Iran’s largest startup gathering, was held on Tuesday, January 24, 1403, at the Ministry of Interior’s conference hall. The event hosted more than 3,000 activists, enthusiasts, senior managers, young entrepreneurs, CEOs of Iran’s largest internet companies, and senior managers of the country’s industries. The main part of the event was related to speeches and panel discussions by prominent figures in the startup ecosystem and industry, which took place in the main hall of the conference with the presence of thousands of spectators. In the rest of this report, we will discuss each of them in detail. The Yalda Summit exhibition was also held on the second floor of the Ministry of Interior’s conference hall with the presence of dozens of startups at their dedicated counters. The number of startup counters present at the exhibition was 100, each of which was welcomed by the Yalda Summit guests. Also, the Capital Cafe and the Mentoring Cafe were held on the sidelines of the Yalda Summit. The Capital Cafe included pitch decks of selected startups in front of investors. The Mentoring Cafe also provided consulting and coaching services to the applicant startups with the presence of experienced mentors from the startup ecosystem.
