An error message F79 or error message F78 will often appear on the display. The error is definitely with the Miele motor and we'll look together to find out exactly what the problem is and, among other things, look for other causes of the error. We'll dismantle the entire motor and along the way I'll show you, in addition to the parts that can be replaced, how to correctly adjust the water diverter afterwards. It's explained very simply in this video. Error F79: Communication error between the Miele circulation pump and the Miele main control board Error message F78: Error in the circulation pump Solution: look for foreign objects on the rotor. The rotor may just be stuck after a long period of non-use You should follow a few important steps when troubleshooting and repairing the problem in order to correctly adjust your water diverter on the circulation pump and avoid consequential damage. You can find out exactly what you should pay attention to in this video. You can easily carry out this procedure on all Miele dishwashers. [Important to add: The seal at 9:05 does not belong there. It goes under the rotor at 15:13. The circulation pump has already been disassembled and I was supposed to repair it.
