About :

We suggest not using sponge and phenolic foam substrates as support for seedlings or germination because they are plastic. The problem is that the microplastics in these two substrates are absorbed by the roots and deposited on the leaves and fruits. There are many recent studies that prove that the roots absorb microplastics. We support our claim in this video with a documentary from a German laboratory that proves this.
