The old town is almost the largest private sector in Vinnytsia. The houses here are located in cozy streets, and everything around is literally drowning in trees and flowers. At the same time, there is a place here for high-rise buildings, both Soviet-style and more modern. If you don't know the history, then in fact nothing in the Old Town will tell you that Vinnytsia started here. Two whole times. A few hundred years after the formal date of the city's foundation, the center of its development was moved to the other bank of the Southern Bug. And what should have been the "old city", that is, the historical center, turned into a rural suburb.
