Our summer vacation has arrived and we came to Menton, the Pearl of France, to enjoy the European summer on the most beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Azur, on the French Riviera. Menton is the last city in France and borders Italy, and we walked across the border, as it was 1.5 km from our Airbnb in Menton! The city right after the border is Ventimiglia, in Italy! We stayed in an Airbnb in Menton, facing the beach - Plage des Sablettes - very well located, it was simply perfect! On the day of our arrival, we had lunch at Restaurant Les Enfants Terribles right at the entrance to the old city center, we loved it! We had dinner at the Restaurant Coco Loco, on the marina shore. We loved this restaurant! The drinks and food were delicious. It was well worth it, and the place is beautiful! The most striking spot in the old town of Menton is the Basilique Saint-Michel Archangel with its steps that you can see from the beach! Beautiful! Right in front of the Casino Barrière Menton, there is a beach for dogs and their human companions. There are lockers on all the beaches that cost €0.50. Bring your coins! We went to the Restaurant La Loca Vineria, a tapas restaurant with an incredible view, a very nice atmosphere, and good food! And next door is the Restaurant Mirazur, a Michelin-starred restaurant with 3 stars! A refined option for your meal in Menton!
