Perm "Memorial" is NOT INCLUDED in the register of public organizations - "foreign agents". However, since our organization is part of the structure of International Memorial, which is included in this register, then in accordance with the new requirements of Russian legislation we are forced to label our products with the following text: "Materials (information) are produced, distributed and (or) sent by the founder, member, participant, director of a non-profit organization performing the functions of a foreign agent, or a person who is a member of the body of such a non-profit organization." We also note that International Memorial does not agree with this decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and it is being challenged in court.
