About :

The Joinville Bridge will be approximately 1 km long and will connect Alwino Hansen Avenue, in the Adhemar Garcia neighborhood, to the road system in the Boa Vista neighborhood, on São Leopoldo and São Borja streets. Approximately 65,000 people are expected to cross the bridge daily after the construction is completed. Álya Construtora S/A won the bidding process for the construction of the bridge, with a proposal of R$296,231,799.89. To make the construction work feasible, the City of Joinville resorted to an international loan of US$40 million. The delivery date of the Joinville Bridge is scheduled for May 2026. The construction has a two-year contract term and the work is concentrated in the Adhemar Garcia and Boa Vista neighborhoods. The Caieira Municipal Natural Park is located at Waldemiro Rosa Street, 1636, in Adhemar Garcia and is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 8 am to 6 pm. Due to the presence of native species, pets are not allowed in the park. The park was created in 2004 with the aim of conserving and protecting samples of the mangrove and restinga environment and protecting the Sambaqui archaeological sites located in the area. It also offers the public the possibility of accessing ecological environments for educational and recreational activities, in contact with nature. There are approximately 360 species of animals that can be seen. The highlight is the Scarlet Ibis, which is endangered but can be seen on site.
