As soon as we found out that Mariana Enriquez was coming to visit us at @charcoclubcultural we realized that there was no other way to do it than on a stage in the street under the spectral sky. From there we began to dream and create an event for everyone, specially set up for a unique encounter. We were accompanied on this trip by Felipe Reyes-Galgomundo with the welcome music, Mauricio Cheguhem with an in-depth interview that invited attentive and respectful listening, and Jhona Lemole Demoledor and his Orquesta Deforme (Micaela Artigas, Lucía Caballero, Facundo Bonilla) with the songs that followed Mariana to our library, where she signed as many books as possible for her fans. Bajo el cielo espectral en Charco was part of Espectro Enriquez, a week of activities that celebrate the author's work. Endless thanks to Leonel Schmidt Ferro for the courage to turn texts by one of the most impressive authors of our time into theatre and to invite us to be part of this unique Montevideo alteration. This surpassed everything we could have imagined. Even the full moon was in the background. Thank you for making this event a great party. This impressive intervention of public space on a Monday afternoon would not have been possible without the support of the Municipality of Montevideo, Municipality B, Gussi Libros, Trama Cultural and Galgomundo. Thank you to the enormous and talented team that collaborated in this milestone from each area.
