UTOPIALES 2014 - Romeo is a humanoid robot from Aldebaran that aims to be a real assistant and personal companion. Today, this research platform is used on the one hand to validate the assistance uses that will be allowed by a robot larger than Nao and on the other hand to test new technologies that could be integrated into future Aldebaran products. These innovations come from Aldebaran's own research but also from the work of academic and industrial partners carried out within the framework of collaborative projects such as the PSPC project of the Romeo 2 Future Investment Program supported by Bpifrance. Among the innovations tested on Romeo, we can cite human-robot interaction, mobile eyes and the vestibular system, effort control... Romeo will be presented by Rodolphe Gelin, Director of Research at Aldebaran. Supporting Ideas in Science means caring for others!
