MDG politician Eivind Trædal takes a violent stand against iNyheter's feature editor, Ole Asbjørn Ness, and his boisterous tone on X, Trump support and trivialization of the climate threat. - I have become milder and more objective, while on social media you are getting worse and worse, Ness, claims Eivind Trædal, who is reacting to having been called a soyboy who is laughing about the election. He is taking a stand against what he calls the reactionary instinct, where one polarizes, and believes that the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Eivind Trædal is the 4th candidate for the Storting for the Green Party, and group leader for MDG in the Oslo City Council. There are two positions in particular with Ness that make Trædal's blood boil. The first is that Ness supported Trump in the presidential election. - Trump is dangerous for Norway, dangerous for Europe, and a possible threat to democracy in the United States, claims Trædal. He also believes that Ness trivializes and refuses to acknowledge how serious the climate threat is. – People like Ness call themselves realists, but as soon as it comes to the climate threat, you suddenly refuse to take reality and science into your own hands. He believes it is time to wake up. Climate change is already here, the consequences will be very serious, and all you do is trivialize it all, claims Trædal.
